TANJUNG SELOR – Bupati Bulungan, Sudjati berharap kepada Kepala Desa (Kades) yang lama untuk tetap menyumbangkan pemikiran, pengetahuan dan pengalamannya kepada kades yang baru. “Untuk kemajuan desa dan daerah yang kita cintai ini,” ucapnya, Selasa (2/5) pada acara pelantikan dan serah terima jabatan Kades periode 2017-2023 di Pemkab Bulungan.

Ia pun turut menyampaikan rasa terima kasih kepada kades yang lama atas ketulusan dalam segala bentuk pengabdian dan pengorbanannya selama ini dalam membangun desa. “Saya ingatkan kepada kades khususnya yang baru dilantik, serta seluruh kades pada umumnya di wilayah Pemkab Bulungan serta seluruh OPD yang terkait dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat desa, bahwa jika kemampuan aparatur desa tidak ditingkatkan maka taruhannya akan banyak praktek korupsi yang melibatkan aparatur desa,” imbuhnya.

Sebab, pasca muncul UU No 6 Tahun 2014 tentang pemerintahan desa. Maka seluruh sistem pemerintahan desa berubah secara drastis. Karena saat ini desa memiliki kewenangan untuk mengatur keuangan secara mandiri. “Untuk itu diperlukan pendekatan yang dapat menjangkau secara keseluruhan peran serta dalam meningkatkan kapasitas dan kapabilitas desa,” terangnya.

Selain itu, selama ini banyak potensi desa di Bulungan yang tidak tergarap dengan baik karena terhambat masalah dana. Tetapi dengan adanya dana desa sekarang ini yang dikelola seluruh desa, tentunya berbagai potensi yang dimiliki desa tersebut bisa dikembangkan dengan baik untuk kemajuan desa dan kesejahteraan masyarakat desa.

Adapun pelantikan Kepala Desa ini berjumlah 10 orang yang merupakan hasil Pilkades di 10 desa pada 28 Februari lalu. (KIR)
